学长投稿雅思写作范文（雅思写作近5年真题）

Many people Today prefer to socialize online rather than in the local community. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

虽然本周又是一道advantages and disadvantages的问题，但学长本人认为比上周写小孩压力的题目要简单一些。（OS: 毕竟，现在谁关心那些又吵又闹的小屁孩，直接送他们去辅导班得了。）

本题关注的中心就是people socialize online （人们在网上进行社交）。的确，现在越来越多的人喜欢在网上交朋友，聊天，以至于自己邻居是谁都不知道了（学长躺枪了）。

网上进行社交的坏处显而易见。比如跟你聊天的小姐姐，线下秒变大妈。又比如网上吹牛得很厉害很厉害的哥们，见面一看只是个搬砖的。总之，网上社交永远存在着一种不确定性。不过，真的网上社交没有一点好处吗？其实，如果仔细想想，你会发现如果你不上网不聊天，永远龟缩在现实里面的圈子里，你是很难打开眼界看这个世界的。打比方，你在论坛里跟成百上千人谈交流后所了解的东西，会比在现实里跟几个人聊的内容少吗？这就是我们称21世纪为“信息时代”的理由。

写本类的议论文有个小的技巧，当同学们不知道怎么下笔（瞎编）的时候可以想一下。在写body paragraph的时候，可以按照Statement，Evidence，Explaination的格式来写（简称SEE，看透一切）。顾名思义，Statement就是写你的观点，Evidence就是写for example，according to studies，for instance之类的支持你观点的东西，而Explaination就是解释你的Evidence。有这个思路不怕写不出来，就怕写多了。为了方便大家学习，我在下面的范文讲解里就采用这种格式来分析我所写的内容

Today many individuals prefer to use the internet as a mean to socialize rather than hanging out with people in the real world. Indeed the internet is full of uncertainty and there are all sorts of dangers hidden behind the LED screen. However I believe this cannot diminish the benefits of online socializing as it is themost efficent way to communicate and learn about the human society.

First things first socializing online is not completely superior to the convential way of communicating because it often involves some degree of deception. For example when people post their selfies they usually use softwares to make themselves look better than in real life. Furthermore in online dating platforms such as Tinder people lie about their appearances income or even personalities in order to become more appealing. This may potentially create trust issues between people.

However deception is not an exclusive aspect in online dating. In everyday life people hide their true emotions and personalities from the public. For instance most females and some males also wear make-ups to look more visually appearing. Although people “lie” more on the internet it is totally understandable as wealways try to hid our true self while presenting our persona to the world no matter we are online or in the real world.

Most importantly socializing online is the best method to learn about the human world. By communicating with all sorts of people online we are able to gain access to information which is unobtainable offline. For example when we post a question on a forum there are always hundreds of people who are willing to share ideas from different perspectives. According to some studies people nowadays receive five-thousand times the amount of information in their lifetime compared to individuals in the Middle ages. As we can see people have so much to knowledge to gain by socializing with others on the internet.

All in all the benefits of socializing online clearly outweighs the dangers associated with it. It is true that people hide their true self behind their screens but there are simply no escape to that because people still commit it in real life only to a smaller extent. It is more important for us to effectively use online socializing as a source to learn about our world talk with individuals around the globe and enjoy the process of interacting with different kinds of people.
